Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) requires assistance for toileting. AV will use his/her call light to ask staff for assistance. On average, it takes staff approximately 55 minutes to answer AV's call light, leaving AV to wait to use the restroom, causing AV to either have an accident or get a urinary tract infection from holding his/her urine. Both situations cause AV unreasonable discomfort. The facility's failure to answer the call light in a timely manner is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
