Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to oversee their medication administration. According to an investigation, the facility did not administer AV’s opioid patch for pain control on more than one occasion, resulting in AV suffering repeated physical pain. The facility failed to ensure medications were given as ordered, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
