Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) requires assistance with activities of daily living from facility staff, including incontinence care. AV complained of having to wait for 1-2 hours for assistance from staff when he/she activated his/her call light. Call light log response times show anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. AV was left in unreasonable discomfort while waiting for staff to respond to the call light. The facility's failure to timely respond to call lights is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-00118 $250.00 fine assessed
