Findings: On or about December 18, 2023, the facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure the Alleged Victim’s (AV) medication was administered as ordered. According to documentation, AV went without H/H medication for several days, which resulted in AV experiencing suicidal ideations and was transferred to the Emergency Department for treatment. The failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-00611 $250.00 fine assessed
