Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system by failing to administer medications as ordered to the Alleged Victim (AV). On approximately December 26, 2023, the facility realized the AV was not being administered an injectable medication to treat their skin condition. This medication was in the fridge and was from approximately March of 2023. There was no documented evidence the AV received their skin medication from approximately March through December 26, 2023, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP24-00837 $375.00 fine assessed
