Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care On or about January 11, 2024, it was reported that Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) threw food down in front of AV and told AV, “I hope you choke on it.”. There have been prior complaints in the past regarding the way AP2 talked to residents, but the facility did not take any action towards AP2. AP2 failed to protect AV from mental abuse, which is neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to protect AV from mental abuse, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
