Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) has a history of falls. AV suffered multiple falls with and without injury from November 2023 to January 2024. On or about January 21, 2024, AV fell in the hallway suffering a bruise and pain to his/her hip. AV was sent to the emergency room on January 24, 2024 and found with bruising to the hip and edema to his/her knee from the fall. The facility failed to implement interventions to reduce the number of falls, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-00621 $375.00 fine assessed
