Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage his/her medications. According to an investigation, AV’s antibiotic medication was not ordered timely, resulting in AV missing approximately three days of his/her medication, placing AV at serious risk of harm. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration to ensure AV’s medication was available to be administered as ordered, which is a violation of resident’s rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
