Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage his/her medications. According to an investigation, on or around January 29, 2024, the facility ran out of AV's anxiety medication, as it had not been re-ordered timely. As a result, AV experienced increased anxiety and unreasonable discomfort. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure AV’s medication was available to be administered as ordered, which is a violation of resident’s rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
