Findings: On or about January 25, 2024, it was discovered that the the Alleged Victim (AV) was missing his/her inhaler and staff could not find it. AV's inhaler was received at the facility and checked in by Alleged Perpetrator #2, however, it is unknown where the inhaler went. The intake process for the medications did not have a multi-person check for the medications and inventory was not completed by the Registered Nurse. AV did not receive his/her inhaler, which was purchased and sent to the facility. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, causing a financial loss to AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes financial abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-00592 $250.00 fine assessed
