Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to provide the ordered diet for the Alleged Victim (AV) which put them at risk for dehydration and aspiration and did not provide meal assistance. When provided the correct fluid and assistance, the AV was seen drinking multiple containers of fluid. Staff witnessed on multiple occasions the AV was served the wrong diet texture and told the investigator they did not help with eating, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-00680 $500.00 fine assessed
