Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) is care planned to have assistance with his/her compression socks every morning. AV has had to wait until as late as noon to get assistance with the socks. Not having the socks on exacerbates AV's pain in his/her legs. AV will also occasionally need assistance while using the bathroom and will press his/her call button, however, staff at times will not answer for up to two hours, leaving AV unclean. The facility's failure to assist AV when needed caused emotional distress, unreasonable discomfort and a loss of personal dignity, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
