Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for the Alleged Victim (AV) by not reordering their psychotropic medications timely. On or about January 25, 2024, through approximately February 15, 2024, the facility ran out of the AV’s psychotropic medication and did not administer this medication. The failure resulted in the AV to experience increased agitation and behaviors, including a resident-to-resident altercation, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
