Findings: The facility failed to provide appropriate services according to the Alleged Victim (AV)'s needs. AV is service planned for incontinence care, peri care and shower care. On or about February 2, 2024 AV's rash on h/h body and peri area was first noticed by the facility staff. Community Medical Partners were notified by the facility of AV's rash on or about March 5, 2024. During investigation, it was determined AV was left in urine-soaked briefs and bedding on several occasions for long periods of time. Resulting in a rash to AV's body and peri area for a prolonged period of time causing AV discomfort, itchiness and pain, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-01132 $500.00 fine assessed
