Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) used his/her call light to request staff assistance. AV waited a few hours to receive assistance, as the call light was answered and AV was told to wait, as there weren't enough staff to assist AV at the time. AV was wet and needed to be changed. AV was left to feel degraded by this incident. The facility's failure to ensure there are enough staff to to meet residents needs is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP24-00707 $250.00 fine assessed
