Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care and has a history of depression and suicidal ideation. According to an investigation, between approximately April 7, 2024, and April 15, 2024, AV missed approximately 7 doses of their antidepressant medication, resulting in increased anxiety/depression and repeated unreasonable discomfort. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system and give AV medications as prescribed, which is violation of resident’s rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP25-00048 $1500.00 fine assessed
