Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to ensure a safe medication administration system was in place by not reordering the Alleged Victim’s (AV) pain medication before running out. On or about March 10, 2024, the AV was notified by the facility they ran out of their pain medication. From approximately March 11, 2024, through March 13, 2024, the AV went without their prescribed pain medication which resulted in pain and unreasonable discomfort, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
