Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. According to an investigation, on or about February 19, 2024, AV did not receive antibiotic medication as ordered to treat a wound. AV received only seven doses of the twenty doses prescribed when staff were unable to locate the antibiotic medication, resulting in the wound not improving. The facility failed to provide a safe medication system, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
