Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. According to an investigation, on or about January 05, 2024, AV did not receive pain medication as ordered following a surgical procedure. The facility had difficulty filling the prescribed order and did not administer the pain medication for seven days, resulting in AV experiencing continued unreasonable discomfort. The facility failed to administer medication as ordered, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
