Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) requires stand by assist for transferring. On or about May 26, 2024, AV was found slumped over in his/her chair by staff. AV tried to use his/her call button around 1:00 am for staff assistance from his/her chair, as he/she was having pain in his/her back and legs. No staff answered the call light and AV was found in the morning while staff were doing rounds. The facility's failure to answer the call light timely caused unreasonable discomfort for AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP24-01105 $250.00 fine assessed
