Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage his/her medications. According to an investigation, AV did not receive his/her pain medication as ordered on multiple occasions, which resulted in pain and unreasonable discomfort. The facility failed to administer AV’s medication as ordered, which is a violation of resident’s rights, is neglect of care, and constitutes abuse.
