Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. On or about July 28, 2024, AV missed a dose of a pain medication which AV requires due to chronic pain. The facility did not get AV’s medication until the next night. As a result, AV stated they had increased pain. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP25-00100 $500.00 fine assessed
