Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to protect the Alleged Victim (AV) from financial abuse. On or around August 2024, the AV discovered there was money missing from their wallet. The facility set up a hidden camera in the AV’s room to see what was happening. The camera caught the Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) stealing money from the AV’s wallet. AP2 admitted to stealing approximately $120.00 from the AV’s wallet, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to protect the AV from financial abuse which is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
