Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) is bedbound and requires assistance with repositioning every two hours. On or about August 19, 2024, it was discovered that AV was not re positioned all day and possibly all weekend, causing AV unreasonable discomfort. AV has bed rails that were not left up, so AV didn't have the ability to re-position him/herself either. According to staff, the facility was short staffed over the weekend, causing distress to staff trying to ensure that all residents needs were met. The facility's failure to ensure AV"s care need were met placed AV at risk for harm. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP25-00040 $750.00 fine assessed
