Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage their medications. According to an investigation, on or around July 07, 2024, the facility ran out of AV's blood pressure medication. The Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) was notified of the need to order the medication multiple times and failed to ensure it was ordered and available. As a result, the AV was not administered the prescribed blood pressure medication as ordered from July 7, 2024 through August 27, 2024, placing the AV at serious risk of harm. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure AV’s medication was available to be administered as ordered, which is a violation of resident’s rights, is neglect of care, and constitutes abuse.
