Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care needs. On or about September 2, 2024, the facility was provided with a written order to treat the scabies for AV. However, the facility waited to fax orders to fill the prescription treatment until on or about September 9, 2024. On or about September 10, 2024, AV was observed to have several pin prick markings scattered on the top of AV’s left and right feet. The error in ordering medication resulted in AV not receiving treatment for scabies until September 12, 2024. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for AV, which put AV in risk of harm, and which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
