Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to follow the care plan for Witness 1 (W1) for their known history of resident-to-resident altercations. On or about September 14, 2024, the Alleged Victim (AV) walked into W1’s room causing W1 to become physically aggressive and hitting the AV in the arm several times while yelling at the AV. The AV has a history of going into other resident’s rooms and is service planned to be redirected when the AV is expressing this behavior. The failure to follow the care plan is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP25-00019 $375.00 fine assessed
