Findings: On or about October 8, 2024, the Alleged Victim (AV) was found with bruises and a skin tear to his/her face. It was noted that AV's fingernails were very long and had not been trimmed for some time. AV scratched him/herself, due to the facility not performing nail care as needed. The facility's failure to ensure nail care was completed placed AV at risk for harm, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP25-00514 $188.00 fine assessed
