Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage their medications and treatments. The AV had treatment orders for wound cleaning to be done daily. According to an investigation, beginning on or about October 2, 2024, the AV's wound was noted to not be cleaned properly on multiple occasions, placing the AV at risk of developing an infection. There was no documented evidence facility staff had been providing the wound care daily as ordered. The facility failed to provide the AV's wound care as ordered, which is a violation of resident’s rights, is neglect of care, and constitutes abuse.
