Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) had two personal checks cashed without his/her permission totally $1,500. Based on facility documentation and interviews, Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2), an employee at the facility, stole two checks from AV, and cashed the checks for his/her financial gain by falsifying his/her personal information in order to cash the checks. AV did not voluntarily write the checks in question to AP2. AP2 financially exploited AV by stealing two checks totaling $1,500 from AV which is considered financial exploitation and is considered abuse. The facility failed to provide a safe environment for AV which is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
