Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. According to an investigation, on or about October 13, 2024, AV did not receive medication as ordered to treat tremors. AV did not receive the medication as prescribed between October 13, 2024, and October 27, 2024, when the medication was not available for staff to administer, resulting in an increase in AV's tremors and unreasonable discomfort. The facility failed to provide a safe medication system, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP25-00045 $500.00 fine assessed
