Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to follow the care plan for incontinence care to the Alleged Victim (AV) after experiencing periods of incontinence. On multiple occasions, the AV was found with dried feces and urine on them. Documentation shows there was an incident where feces was found on the AV’s catheter tube. The facility failed to follow the care plan for incontinence care for the AV, causing pain and unreasonable discomfort, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP25-00280 $500.00 fine assessed
