Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) resides at the facility and relies on facility to meet their safety and care needs, including medication administration. On or about December 4, 2024, Witness 3 (W3) gave Alleged Victim (AV) their medication. W3 told staff he/she had given their medication to AV. As a result of the medication administration, AV’s blood pressure began to drop and was sent to the hospital where AV was given fluids and monitored. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP26-00030 $250.00 fine assessed
