Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system by ensuring the Alleged Victim’s (AV) narcotic medications were reordered timely to ensure they did not run out. On or about November 01, 2024, the facility ran out of the AV's narcotic medication and did not administer their 6:00 pm does. Between November 01. 2024, through November 08, 2024, the facility failed to administer approximately 9 doses of their scheduled narcotic medication. The failure to provide a safe medication system caused the AV to suffer increased pain, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
