Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system by not having the Alleged Victim’s (AV) blood sugar medication available. From approximately January 06, 2025, through January 11, 2025, and January 13, 2025, through January 23, 2025, the AV’s blood sugar medication was not available to be administered to the AV by the facility. The failure to provide a safe medication administration system put the AV at risk of serious harm, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP25-00287 $500.00 fine assessed
