Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system by not measuring liquid narcotic medication correctly. On or about September 03, 2024, The Alleged Victim (AV) received a new bottle of liquid narcotic medication which contained approximately 30 ml. On or about February 19, 2024, after doses were given, a medication technician noticed the count on the medication was wrong, showing 8.5 ml less than what narcotics logs show should be remaining. The failure to provide a safe medication administration system which tracks narcotic medication is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
