Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care, including medication management. AV was independent with medication administration until AV experienced a change of condition. According to an investigation, AV did not receive their prescribed medications for pain control on multiple occasions, which resulted in repeated unreasonable discomfort. The facility failed to provide appropriate services, relating to medication, care planning and change of condition, which is a violation of residents' rights which is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
