Findings: On or about March 22, 2025, the Alleged Victim (AV) was showing signs and symptoms of a urinary tract infection (UTI). AV had a change of condition on March 22, 2025 of a urinary tract infection, and while the facility contacted AV's physician, the facility did not follow up when they did not hear back from AV's physician until April 3, 2025. AV tested positive for UTI on April 4, 2025 and began antibiotics. AV suffered significant unreasonable discomfort from March 22, 2025 until April 4, 2025, when his/her condition was followed up on. The Facility's failure to ensure oversight to AV's change of condition is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP25-00338 $1500.00 fine assessed
