Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage his/her medications. According to an investigation, AV did not receive their seizure medication for approximately 3 days, posing a risk of harm. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration to ensure AV’s medication was available to be administered as ordered, which is a violation of resident’s rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP25-01019 $250.00 fine assessed
