Findings: The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure The Alleged Victim’s (AV) medications were administered as ordered. Based on facility documentation and interviews, AV missed several doses of his/her prescribed medication due to the facility failing to reorder more before running out. The facility failed to have a supply of AV's medication in stock sufficient to allow for the administration of AV's medication according to medical orders, which caused AV unreasonable discomfort, which is a minor violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP25-00421 $225.00 fine assessed
