Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to provide care, services, and a safe environment. On or about May 30, 2025, AV went outside to the facility's secured courtyard. When AV returned from the courtyard approximately 2 hours later, AV was lethargic, non-responsive and had a temperature of 103 degrees. The facility sent AV to the hospital where AV was treated for dehydration and acute kidney injury. The facility failed to ensure that AV was hydrated and safe when in the secure courtyard, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP25-00900 $1360.00 fine assessed
