Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage their medications. According to an investigation, the AV has a physician's order for a weekly injectable medication. The facility does not administer injectable medications. The Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) failed to coordinate care to ensure the AV was instructed on self-injecting the medication. The AV did not get the prescribed medication from November 21, 2024, through July 7, 2025, placing the AV at risk and resulting in a surgery being delayed. AP2’s actions are a violation of resident rights, are considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration to ensure AV’s medication was administered as ordered, which is a violation of resident’s rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
