Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) is scheduled to take narcotic pain medication three times per day. AV was to have a pain clinic appointment on March 21, 2025, which AV missed. According to documentation, staff were aware that AV needed to have an appointment to have his/her pain medication prescription refilled. Staff made an appointment for AV on April 15, 2025 for the pain clinic, but didn't check to ensure AV had enough pain medication to last until that time. AV ran out of his/her pain medication on April 11, 2025. AV missed 12 scheduled doses of his/her pain medication, causing AV unreasonable discomfort. The facility's failure to ensure that AV"s medication was re-ordered timely is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
