Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) resides in the Respondent’s facility and relies on facility staff to meet AV’s daily care needs. AV’s service plan specifies that facility staff are responsible for administering AV’s medications in accordance with the prescribing physician’s orders. AV is prescribed a medication patch, with the physician’s order directing that AV is to receive a new patch daily. Facility staff failed to re-order AV’s medication in a timely manner, resulting in AV missing scheduled doses from September 5, 2025, through September 7, 2025. The Respondent’s failure to ensure the availability of required medication constitutes neglect of care and meets the definition of abuse.
