Findings: The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for Alleged Victim (AV) when he/she was admitted to the facility. During the intake process for admitting AV into the facility, facility staff were aware that AV did not have his/her supplies and/or medications available but admitted AV to the facility anyway. The facility's failure to verify and ensure AV's supplies and medications were available at time of admittance put AV at a potential risk of harm. The facility's failure is violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care which constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP20-01042 $250.00 fine assessed
