Findings: Alleged Perpetrator 2’s (AP2) job duty was to administer and document Alleged Victim’s (AV) pain medication. On several occasions, AP2 failed to properly document AV’s pain medication. AP2’s failure to properly document AV’s pain medication caused AV to lose property which is considered financial abuse. The facility’s failure to provide oversight of its medication administration system placed AV at risk of harm and caused him/her to lose property, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP20-00331 $500.00 fine assessed
