Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) had a known history of refusing cares and being combative around cares. On or about July 27, 2019, AV was forcefully restrained while staff attempted to change AV's briefs against AV's wishes causing AV unreasonable discomfort. Management agreed with how staff handled cares for AV. The facility failed to care plan appropriately according to AV's history and ignored AV's right to refuse services which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP20-00299 $500.00 fine assessed
