Findings: The facility failed to ensure the Alleged Victim's (AV) care needs were being met due to a lack of service planning for his/her exit seeking behaviors. The AV was injured when a staff opened a door AV was standing near, causing an injury to AV's finger. AV was transferred to the hospital for treatment. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP20-01424 $188.00 fine assessed
