Findings: Witness #1(W1) was care planned to be monitored due to behaviors he/she has when others enter his/her room. On or about October 9, 2020, the Alleged Victim (AV) propelled his/her wheelchair in to W1's room, W1 responded by punching AV and pushing him/her out of the room. AV received a bruise due to the punch from W1. The facility's failure to follow the care plan is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-01709 $375.00 fine assessed
