Findings: On or about January 24, 2021, the Alleged Victim (AV) was sent to the emergency room and diagnosed with an infection in his/her mouth requiring an antibiotic. AV missed a couple doses of the medication and at the end of the cycle of the medication, AV was still in pain. Had the facility given all the antibiotic as ordered, AV may have recovered from the infection, alleviating his/her pain. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP21-01484 $250.00 fine assessed
